When Idun's physical space is not available we want to do our very best to bring the Idun spirit of rebirth and rejuvenation to you. Each member of the team make up the spirit of Idun, and so, we have asked them to share a few things that have been comforting or creatively awakening to them.

We hope this brings some sense of tranquility or awakens an inventive spirit within you.

Idun / la femme playlist by Berit Belén Johnson

From Berit: "As I was compiling best of lists this year, contrary to my own personal trends, my favorite artists in 2019 were mostly women. So in that vein, as I was ruminating on how to begin a playlist for the shop - one for early spring, for a time of political upheaval, for general pleasure and fortitude, (and obviously the continued dismantling of the patriarchy) - I figured a list of all femme artists was as good as any. Onward and forward, babes!"

Nostalgic, elusive, romantic; something that once was and yet still is. Idun's Autumn / Winter 2019 Film, Layers of Material and Immaterial, takes inspiration from generations ago while maintaining a contemporary perspective. A nod to 1980s Ralph Lauren, yet layering it with more depth; like a re-telling of that time from a  contemplative standpoint. The idea of layered memories are brought forth not only in emotion but physically in the layered clothing.
